Chinese New Year Celebrations

 

February 10th signifies the Chinese New Year with 2008 being the Year of the Rat. Come and join in the cultural festivities in Chinatown. This year events will feature traditional and contemporary Chinese cultural activities, festivities, dances, Chinese Opera and singing, karaoke competition, numerous stalls of culinary delights, arts and crafts, Chinese chess competitions, lion dances, dragon parades, calligraphy and children's events. And don't miss the Chinese Lions dancing through the streets and the excitement and buzz the New Year will bring.
