While staying at Quest SXY South Yarra you may wish to take time to visit some of Melbourne's Museums. Melbourne Museum The Melbourne Museum is located in the Carlton Garden and is the largest museum in the Southern Hemisphere.The museum has seven main galleries, a Children's Gallery, a temporary exhibit gallery and an IMAX Theater which usually shows documentary films in 3-D format. The museum also has a cafe and a souvenir shop.  Science Works Scienceworks is a giant playground for children. It has hands-on experiments, demonstrations, tours, activities, and constantly changing exhibits. Besides the many hands-on exhibits, one famous exhibit is the lighting room. They also have the only digital planetarium in the southern hemisphere. Royal Exhibition Building The Royal Exhibition Building is Located in the Carlton Gardens and is one of the worlds oldest remaining exhibition pavilions.
